Rose Quartz is honoured in Chinese, Indian and Tibetan culture and still remains to be one of the most sought after stones for carving. Beads of Rose Quartz have been found in archaeological digs dating back to 7000 B.C. When tombs were opened in Egypt Rose Quartz Face Masks were often found alongside the deceased, as in Ancient Egyptian culture it was thought that the stone would keep the complexion of the wearer looking young and wrinkle free.
