Tigers Eye is a type of Quartz but due to its fibrous and opaque aggregate it has an attractive iridescence. It was often worn by Roman Soldiers as they believed it to be an all seeing eye that would also offer them strength and courage during challenging situations. It is found in many parts of the world, but is most predominantly found in South Africa and Thailand.
